Visas are required to enter Russia and many other countries. A visa is a small sheet that is glued inside your passport. Incomplete or incorrectly filled out forms can cause significant delay, and they can mess up your travel schedule, causing cancellations and rescheduling charges.

Visas come in several forms. By far, the most common are single and double entry visas for 30 days. Other forms include longer stays, multiple entry, business visas and home stays. Visas are time sensitive documents, and consular fees tend to be based on the number of entries and visit duration. Encore Travel will advise you on the appropriate visa to obtain, and will obtain the necessary official documents on your behalf, after your itinerary is defined.

We offer a complete, turnkey service, which includes:

  • Planning the travel program
  • Matching the visa requirements
  • Providing the visa support
  • Validating your application
  • Submitting the application and necessary documents to the consulate
  • Monitoring and expediting the progress of the visa
  • Arranging for the delivery of the final documents back to you from the consulate:

Although each of the countries, listed below, requires a visa from US citizens, their requirements are NOT identical. Please follow the links to the specific country in order to find the updated details and applications.

The following countries do not require visas from US citizens for stays of less than 90 days

  • Lithuania
  • Estonia
  • Latvia
  • Poland
  • Ukraine

Notes:

1. You must have a US passport valid for at least 90 days beyond the travel dates.
2. Travel protection insurance covers the cost of trip cancellations for whatever reason, and is highly recommended. The cost is very reasonable. Premiums are not fixed; they depend on your overall trip cost.
3. Some countries require specific medical inoculations, tests (for HIV), as well as medical insurance. We will advise you of these needs and we offer a very reasonable medical insurance policy, especially designed for travelers that not only meets the legal requirements but also provides meaningful emergency care.
4. If you are not a US citizen, and you want to apply for a visa in the US, then you must provide us with documentary proof of your legal residence in the US. Please contact us so we can work out the details.
5.

Unless explicitly noted or discussed the visa durations will be 30 days or less, to match the itinerary.
